EAGLES WANT WHAT EAGLES WANT :)

April 2, 2017

Valerie got a call on Thursday from a resident at the Plantation community in Ponte Vedra regarding an eagle she felt had something very heavy hooked on it's legs. She observed that it would try to fly but simply could not take off. The truth is the eagle had a whopper of a fish and was refusing to admit to himself that his cargo was too heavy to allow him to get airborne! Eagles can take flight with approximately 3-4 lbs of prey. He ended up dragging it under a bush and having a meal earthbound.
